DISCONTINUED HONDA SPORT TOURING 150CC MOTORBIKES
About Our 150cc Motorbikes
We discontinued these 150cc motorbikes because we now use the newer Honda CGL125. The newer CGL125’s are new and super reliable. In fact, 150cc GL Pro below was the early model that came with only kick start. In addition, it didn’t have a starting assistance mechanism.
Honda GL Pro Luxury Sports 150cc was a 1996 model from Indonesia, single-cylinder, 4 speeds, 120kg. Front disc brake, back drum brake. Restored in late 2007 with new piston 160cc. We now even discontinued renting the newer version GL1600 Neo-Tech 160cc. The improved features on this later model over the identical black engine GL 150cc in the photo are five gears, reinforced kick-starter support, auto-adjusted cam chain system which allows you to start the bike as easy as a moped scooter and minimize maintenance works.
The GL150 is, in fact, more powerful than the GL160 due to bigger combustion chamber and manifold. The carburetor top is also a little bigger. However, the kick start, ignition system, and engine top are not very reliable. Therefore, if you kick not correctly, it bounces back and you may have your ankle injury (in fact many people had this issue). The difference is technology and engine version, the rest is the same as the GL160.
FYI, classic sportbike collectors in Vietnam still like this model and an original near new condition bike can be between 2,000 and 2,500$US price range.
