HANOI MOTORBIKE RENTALS – TOURING BIKES, DIRT BIKES & SCOOTERS FOR RENT IN HANOI
Based in the capital city of Vietnam, Hanoi Motorbike Rental has been offering large Japanese Honda road motorcycles and dirt/trail bikes since late 2006. Most motorbike rental shops in Vietnam mainly offer 50–150cc scooters, including semi-automatic and fully automatic models. In recent years, some rental shops have also started offering cheap and often unreliable Chinese Win 110cc motorcycles.
In contrast, most of our rental motorcycles are manual-clutch bikes ranging from 125cc to 250cc, designed for riders who want more capability for long-distance motorcycle trips, mountain roads, and adventure riding in Vietnam. In reality, manual-clutch motorcycles in this size range represent only a small percentage of the total motorbike fleet in Vietnam, making our Honda road and dirt bike rental fleet quite different from what you will find at most rental shops.
As a note, Hanoi Motorbike Rental is part of Offroad Vietnam Adventure Travel, an experienced adventure travel company specializing in motorbiking and outdoor exploration in Vietnam.
All our Japanese Honda touring motorcycles for long-distance trips and Honda motor scooters for expats riding in Hanoi are owned, maintained, serviced, and prepared by our own team. We know our motorcycles because we ride them ourselves. In other words, we put ourselves in your position and prepare every rental bike with the same care we would expect before starting our own journey.
Our goal is simple: we want you to have a safe, reliable, and enjoyable motorcycle trip, just as much as we enjoy running our motorbike rental business.
Because we currently have only one office in Hanoi, we sadly cannot offer one-way motorbike rentals. All rental motorcycles must be collected and returned in Hanoi. This allows us to properly manage our fleet, inspect every motorcycle after each rental, and keep our bikes ready for the next rider.
Below you can see the Honda motorcycles and scooters available for rent in Hanoi.

Send us your inquiry to [email protected] with any questions about motorbike rental in Vietnam, available Honda models, rental requirements, or long-distance motorcycle trips. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

Dual Enduro Motorbike Rentals
You can hire a Honda CRF250L (made between 2014 and 2017) for US$ 40/day, or a Honda CRF150L (made in 2019) for US$ 25/day. Both are excellent choices for riders looking for a capable dual-sport motorcycle rental in Vietnam, especially for mountain roads, rural routes, and longer adventure trips. A discount is available for rentals of more than 4 days, making these bikes even better value for multi-day journeys.

Dirt Bikes
The Honda XR150L is probably one of the best dual-sport dirt bikes in Vietnam. It has been thoroughly tested for reliability on Vietnamese roads and trails while remaining affordable to rent at US$ 20/day. Our Honda XR150L motorcycles were made in 2016 and 2017 and are well suited to riders who want to explore mountain roads, dirt tracks, rural backroads, and remote areas of Northern Vietnam.
If you plan to rent the bike for several days, a better rental rate is available for multi-day bookings. The XR150L is a practical choice for riders who want a simple, reliable, and capable motorcycle without the higher rental cost of the larger CRF models.

Touring Motorcycles
For riders looking for an affordable Honda touring motorcycle rental in Hanoi, we offer the Honda CGL 125cc, a 2014 model made in China. The day rate is US$ 15, making it one of the most economical manual-clutch motorcycles in our fleet.
The CGL 125cc is suitable for riders who prefer a simple manual motorcycle for touring and everyday riding rather than a larger off-road bike. A better rental rate is available for bookings of five days or more, making this model a good option for budget-conscious riders planning a longer motorcycle trip around Vietnam.

Manual & Semi-automatic Scooters
The scooter rental rates below are based on a maximum of 1,500 km per month and are intended for commuting and everyday riding in Hanoi. If you plan to take one of these motorcycles into the Northern mountains or travel all the way to Southern Vietnam, we can also provide them with unlimited mileage, but at a higher daily or weekly rental rate.
Our Honda Wave and Honda Blade 110cc are semi-automatic motorcycles made in Vietnam between 2014 and 2018. They do not have a manual clutch, but you still need to change gears while riding, making them a good choice for riders who want more control than a fully automatic scooter. The monthly rental rate is US $50, based on Hanoi use and the 1,500 km monthly mileage limit.
If you prefer something larger and more powerful, we also offer the Honda Winner 150cc, a sporty manual-clutch motorcycle with 6 gears. The monthly rental rate is US$ 100. With its larger engine and manual transmission, the Winner is a good option for experienced riders who want a more powerful motorcycle for commuting around Hanoi.

Automatic Scooters
For riders who prefer an easy-to-use automatic scooter for Hanoi, we have the Honda Lead 125cc, Honda Air Blade 125cc, and Honda Vision 110cc. These motorcycles were made in Vietnam between 2014 and 2018 and are popular choices for daily commuting and city transportation.
The monthly rental rate is US$ 60-70 for the Vision 110cc, while the Honda Lead 125cc and Air Blade 125cc are US $80/month. Monthly rentals include a maximum of 1,500 km and are intended for commuting within Hanoi.
We do not normally rent these automatic scooters for trips into the Northern mountains or down to Southern Vietnam. Their small wheels and low ground clearance make them less suitable for rough roads, steep mountain routes, and long-distance adventure riding. For these trips, we recommend choosing one of our manual or dual-sport motorcycles instead.

50cc Scooters
The 50cc scooter is the smallest motorcycle in our rental fleet and is a practical option for simple city transportation in Hanoi. These scooters do not require a motorcycle licence under the applicable local rules, although riders should always check that they meet current Vietnamese legal requirements before renting and riding.
Our 50cc scooters are Taiwanese-made KYMCO and SYM models. You can choose between semi-automatic and fully automatic scooters, with monthly rental rates of US$ 50-60. These rentals are intended for riding within Hanoi only and include a maximum of 1,500 km per month.
Because 50cc scooters are small and relatively underpowered, they are best suited to short urban trips, commuting, and everyday transportation around Hanoi, rather than long-distance motorcycle touring or mountain adventures.
